The camera i will be using is the Sony handycam HDR-CX250e, i am using this because it is easily portable, high quality video, and i can watch what i have shot, back.

The tripod I will be using is the Velbon DF-6, i'm using this because it works with my camera and easily screws into the bottom making using it quick, it also has very adjustable legs so i can keep the camera at the angle i want easily.

I made a reader profile 'Prezi', to show some of the things my target audience is interested in, it will help me style my music video in choosing props and costumes along with the research from my poll.

I made a poll to see what people preferred in music videos so i could tailor my music video to fit the profile, i have seen people prefer a story style music video which is what i am doing, also people prefer indie/ rock which is the genre of song i am doing. Other info i gathered is that most people watch music videos quite allot which makes the opinions i have gathered worth while as these people i asked know what there looking for in terms of a music video. I have also seen that my target audience is females ages 17-21, which means i can then further tailor my video towards them. 

By doing this research it links to Klapper's theory of the 3 stages a person must go through to appreciate media. The first stage is for the person to want to watch the media, this is crucial to go through the next 2 stages, as this is so crucial i needed it to appeal to the target audience.  

Casting Selection.

Brin Monkman: Studies; A2 Business, A2 Economics, and A2 physical education at Wyke 6th form college.

I chose Brin as my main actor because with being good friends i could direct him easily and he would be confident in acting around me. I also chose him because he lives close to where i will be shooting my music video and will make it easier to organize when i will be shooting. He also fits the look i want by looking the right age, he has also had some acting experience which helps ensure that i will be able to shoot the music video quickly.

In this clip and the next I didn't know which idea I liked best so I drew both and thought I would pick, however I ended up liking them both so I decided I would include both of them in my music video.

Here is all my storyboards for my music video clips, it has all the shots including a description of Sound, Mise-en-scene, Cinematography and Editing. I will go on to shoot all these clips in real life.
